Supersymmetric Index for Half BPS Black Holes in N=2 Supergravity with Higher Curvature Corrections
Subramanya Hegde, Ashoke Sen, P Shanmugapriya, Amitabh Virmani

TL;DR
This paper calculates the supersymmetric index for half BPS black holes in N=2 supergravity with higher curvature corrections, confirming it matches the black hole degeneracy through purely gravitational methods.
Contribution
It provides the first gravitational computation of the supersymmetric index for these black holes including higher curvature effects, aligning with degeneracy counts.
Findings
Supersymmetric index matches black hole degeneracy.
Higher curvature corrections are incorporated into the index calculation.
Gravitational methods successfully reproduce microscopic degeneracy results.
Abstract
We compute the supersymmetric index of half BPS black holes in N=2 supergravity with higher curvature corrections and show that the result agrees with the degeneracy of supersymmetric extremal black holes carrying the same charges. Both sides of the computation are done gravitationally.
