TL;DR
This review explores the potential for discovering charged Higgs bosons predicted by Two-Higgs-Doublet Models at the future FCC-hh collider, analyzing their production, decay signatures, and distinguishing features.
Contribution
It provides a comprehensive analysis of the discovery prospects for charged Higgs bosons in Types III and IV THDM at a 100 TeV collider, including decay modes and production mechanisms.
Findings
Charged Higgs bosons could be detected via their decay signatures at FCC-hh.
Branching ratios and production cross-sections are promising for certain parameter regions.
Distinct kinematic distributions help differentiate signal from background.
Abstract
This paper reports on the theoretical investigation of charged Higgs bosons and their coupling to fermions within the Two Higgs Doublet Model (THDM). The study focuses on the discovery potential of charged Higgs bosons predicted in Types III and IV at the future Circular Hadron-Hadron Collider (FCC-hh) with a center-of-mass energy of (\sqrt{s} = 100) TeV. By analyzing their decays, couplings to fermions, branching ratios, and production cross-section via (pp \rightarrow tH^-), we investigate the signatures of charged Higgs bosons, including kinematical distributions based on the background processes of (b\bar{b}) quarks.
