Remarks regarding some special matrices
Cristina Flaut, Andreea Baias

TL;DR
This paper introduces a method to construct specific k-potent matrices of order 4 or 8 using matrix representations of quaternions and octonions, applicable over real numbers or finite fields ZP.
Contribution
It provides a novel procedure for generating examples of k-potent matrices leveraging quaternion and octonion representations.
Findings
Constructed explicit examples of k-potent matrices of order 4 and 8.
Applicable over real fields and finite fields ZP with prime p.
Offers a systematic approach for matrix generation using algebraic structures.
Abstract
In this paper, by using matix representation for quaternions andoctonions, we provide a procedure to obtain some example of k potent matrices of order 4 or 8, over the real field or over the field ZP, with p a prime number.
