TL;DR
This paper presents a numerical method to test the Bell-CHSH inequality in diamond-shaped regions of 1+1 Minkowski spacetime, demonstrating violations using Weyl operators in a scalar field vacuum.
Contribution
It introduces a novel numerical setup for evaluating Bell-CHSH inequalities in causal diamonds, revealing violations in a specific quantum field context.
Findings
Violations of Bell-CHSH inequality observed in the model
Numerical approach effective for causal diamond regions
Supports quantum nonlocality in relativistic settings
Abstract
A numerical setup for the Bell-CHSH inequality for causal diamonds in Minkowski spacetime is presented. Upon choosing a suitable set of test functions supported in the diamonds, sensible violations are reported for the correlation function of Weyl operators of a real scalar massive field in the vacuum state.
