TL;DR
This study measures the CP asymmetry in $D^{0} ightarrow K^{0}_{S}K^{0}_{S}$ decays using data from Belle and Belle II, finding results consistent with CP symmetry and previous measurements.
Contribution
First combined measurement of CP asymmetry in $D^{0} ightarrow K^{0}_{S}K^{0}_{S}$ decays using Belle and Belle II data, improving precision and confirming CP symmetry.
Findings
Measured asymmetry: $(-1.4\u00b10.3)\%$
Results consistent with CP symmetry
Uses large combined data samples from Belle and Belle II
Abstract
We measure the time-integrated CP asymmetry in decays reconstructed in events collected by the Belle and Belle II experiments. The corresponding data samples have integrated luminosities of 980 fb and 428 fb, respectively. The decays are required to originate from the decay, which determines the charm flavor at production time. A control sample of decays is used to correct for production and detection asymmetries. The result, , is consistent with previous determinations and with CP symmetry.
