Mohamad Hossein Idjadi, Farshid Ashtiani, Kwangwoong Kim

TL;DR
This paper presents a modulation-free laser stabilization system on a SiN chip that significantly extends locking range and suppresses noise, enhancing laser stability without the need for modulation techniques.
Contribution
The work introduces a novel modulation-free stabilization method using a cavity-coupled MZI on a SiN chip, achieving large locking range and high noise suppression.
Findings
Over 36 dB noise suppression achieved
More than tenfold increase in locking range
Successful demonstration on a low-loss SiN chip
Abstract
We demonstrate a modulation-free laser stabilization system using a cavity-coupled MZI with aided acquisition on a low-loss SiN chip, achieving more than an order-of-magnitude improvement in locking range and over 36 dB noise suppression.
