Exclusive $c \to u \gamma$ transitions of $B_c$ meson
Nicola Losacco

TL;DR
This paper investigates rare $B_c$ meson decays via the $c o u \gamma$ transition, which are suppressed in the Standard Model and sensitive to new physics, focusing on long-distance effects in radiative transitions.
Contribution
It provides an analysis of long-distance contributions in $B_c$ radiative decays to $B^*$ and $B_1^{\
Findings
Long-distance effects are significant in $B_c$ radiative decays.
The study offers insights into potential new physics signals.
It advances understanding of flavor-changing neutral current processes.
Abstract
We study the rare decays of the meson induced by the flavour changing neutral current transition. In the Standard Model they are strongly suppressed by the Glashow-Iliopoulos-Maiani mechanism, therefore they are sensitive to new physics. The difficulty is to get rid of long-distance contributions. We study such effects in radiative transitions both to and to the axial-vector meson.
