TL;DR
This paper extends infrared regularization techniques for Very Special Relativity models to include gamma_5, analyzes anomalies, and applies the method to the VSR Gross-Neveu model in the large N limit.
Contribution
It introduces a gamma_5 inclusive infrared regularization for VSR models and applies it to analyze anomalies and the large N limit of the VSR Gross-Neveu model.
Findings
Chiral anomaly in VSR Schwinger model identified.
Triangle anomaly matches standard QED results.
Infrared regularization effective in large N VSR Gross-Neveu model.
Abstract
We extend the invariant infrared regularization of Very Special Relativity models, that we have proposed recently, to include Dirac matrix. Then, we solve the Very Special Relativity Schwinger model, find the chiral anomaly, and clarify its meaning in the new context. In addition, we show that the triangle anomaly in four space-time dimensions agrees with the same object in standard quantum electrodynamics. Finally, we apply the infrared regularization to compute the large N limit of the Very Special Relativity Gross--Neveu model.
