TL;DR
This paper conducts a comprehensive QCD analysis incorporating a $U(1)_{B-L}$ gauge boson, establishing exclusion limits on its coupling for masses between 2 and 160 GeV, with no improvement in fit quality.
Contribution
It provides the first global QCD analysis including the $U(1)_{B-L}$ gauge boson, setting new constraints on its coupling based on high-energy scattering data.
Findings
No improvement in fit quality with $Z'$ inclusion.
Exclusion limits on $Z'$ coupling for masses 2-160 GeV.
Constraints are derived from electron-nucleon scattering data.
Abstract
We perform the first global QCD analysis of electron-nucleon deep-inelastic scattering and related high-energy data including the beyond the Standard Model gauge boson, . Contrary to the dark photon case, we find no improvement in the relative to the baseline result. The finding allows us to place exclusion limits on the coupling constant of the with mass in the range to 160 GeV.
