Charbel Abetian, Nikolai Kitanine, Veronique Terras

TL;DR
This paper investigates how the ground state overlaps in open XXZ spin chains change when boundary magnetic fields are altered, advancing understanding of boundary quench dynamics in quantum spin systems.
Contribution
It provides the first analysis of ground state overlaps following boundary magnetic field changes in open XXZ spin chains.
Findings
Computed ground state overlaps after boundary field change
Paved the way for boundary quench studies in spin chains
Enhanced understanding of boundary effects in quantum dynamics
Abstract
In this paper we compute the overlaps of the ground states for the open spin chains after a change of one of the boundary magnetic fields. It can be considered as the first step toward the study of the boundary quench problem: behaviour of an open spin chain after an abrupt change of one boundary magnetic field.
