TL;DR
This paper investigates the existence of singly charmed dibaryons with various strangeness numbers using the chiral quark model, identifying potential resonance states that could be observed experimentally.
Contribution
It provides the first systematic analysis of singly charmed dibaryons in baryon-baryon scattering, predicting specific resonance states with detailed mass and width.
Findings
Resonance states with S=-1 identified in baryon-baryon scattering.
The $ ext{ΣΣ}_c$ resonance at 3591 MeV with 11.1 MeV width.
The $ ext{ΣΣ}^*_c$ resonance at 3621-3624 MeV with 14.9 MeV width.
Abstract
We perform a systematical investigation of the singly charmed dibaryon system with strangeness numbers , and in the framework of the chiral quark model. Two resonance states with strangeness numbers are obtained in the baryon-baryon scattering process. In the scattering phase shifts, the appears as a resonance state with the mass and width 3591 MeV and 11.1 MeV, respectively. In the and scattering phase shifts, the exhibits as a resonance state with the mass and width 3621-3624 MeV and 14.9 MeV, respectively. All these heavy-flavor dibaryons are worth searching for in experiments. Besides, we would like to emphasize that the coupling calculation between the bound channels and open channels is indispensable. The study of the scattering process maybe an effective way to…
