Hoang Khanh Lam, Kahandakanaththage Maduni Pramuditha Perera

TL;DR
This paper presents a hierarchical image recognition model that accurately identifies Korean dishes from photos, aiding dietary restrictions and enhancing food awareness.
Contribution
It introduces a novel hierarchical model combining image processing and machine learning specifically for Korean food recognition.
Findings
High accuracy in identifying Korean dishes from images
Effective use of image processing techniques combined with machine learning
Potential to assist dietary restrictions and food awareness
Abstract
A solution was made available for Korean Food lovers who have dietary restrictions to identify the Korean food before consuming. Just by uploading a clear photo of the dish, people can get to know what they are eating. Image processing techniques together with machine learning helped to come up with this solution.
