TL;DR
This paper presents evidence that nonabelian gauge theories exhibit chaos not only classically but also at the quantum level, with implications for understanding their complex dynamics.
Contribution
It provides new lattice gauge theory evidence that nonabelian gauge theories are chaotic quantum mechanically, extending classical chaos insights to the quantum domain.
Findings
Evidence of quantum chaos in SU(2) lattice gauge theory
Chaotic behavior persists at the quantum level
Implications for future research on nonabelian gauge theories
Abstract
Nonabelian gauge theories are chaotic in the classical limit. We discuss new evidence from SU(2) lattice gauge theory that they are also chaotic at the quantum level. We also describe possible future studies aimed at discovering the consequences of this insight.
