TL;DR
This paper proves a new determinantal identity that generalizes the sum of a geometric progression, involving complex proofs and additional related identities.
Contribution
It introduces a novel determinantal identity extending the geometric progression sum and provides a comprehensive proof with auxiliary identities.
Findings
New determinantal identity established
Generalization of geometric progression sum achieved
Additional related identities proved
Abstract
We prove an interesting identity for the sum of determinants, which is a generalization of the sum of a geometric progression. The proof is quite long and a number of other identities are proved along the way. Some of the more elementary ones are deferred to another section at the end.
