TL;DR
This paper explores charged Higgs production in the 2HDM at future electron and muon colliders, analyzing various processes, energies, and collider types to identify potential discovery and exclusion regions.
Contribution
It provides updated and new cross section analyses for charged Higgs production at $e^+e^-$ and muon colliders, including detailed signal-background and detector simulations.
Findings
Muon colliders enhance cross sections via s-channel and t-channel diagrams.
At 3 TeV muon collider, potential for 5$\sigma$ discovery.
Exclusion regions identified at 2$\sigma$ level.
Abstract
Our goal is to investigate the charged Higgs phenomenology in the framework of 2HDM at the upcoming and muon colliders. We are primarily concerned with the associated production processes with a fermion pair: and , as well as with the W boson and a neutral Higgs boson: () and . We first update the results for and then discuss our findings for for various center of mass energies 500 GeV, 1 TeV, 1.5 TeV and 3 TeV. In the case of muon collider, we show that the new s-channel and t-channel diagrams can increase the cross sections by virtue of their Yukawa couplings. We systematically compare our results for the muon collider with those…
