The role of the intrinsic-$k_{\rm T}$ and soft gluon contributions in Drell-Yan production
Natasa Raicevic

TL;DR
This paper reviews recent findings on the intrinsic transverse momentum of partons and the soft gluon effects in Drell-Yan production, highlighting their interplay and impact on theoretical predictions.
Contribution
It provides a comprehensive review of how intrinsic-$k_{T}$ and soft gluon contributions influence Drell-Yan processes using the Parton Branching Method.
Findings
Intrinsic-$k_{T}$ significantly affects Drell-Yan cross sections.
Soft gluon contributions are crucial for accurate modeling.
Interplay between $k_{T}$ and soft gluons improves theoretical descriptions.
Abstract
A review of the most recent results on determination of parton internal transverse momentum in initial colliding hadron obtained within the Parton Branching Method is presented and its interplay with non-perturbative soft gluon contribution in Drell-Yan pairs production is discussed.
