Cheng Chen, Bing Yan, Ju-Jun Xie

TL;DR
This paper calculates the electromagnetic form factors and spin polarization of the charmed baryon mbda_c^+ in electron-positron collisions near threshold, aligning with experimental data and offering new insights into mbda_c^+ properties.
Contribution
It introduces a theoretical analysis of mbda_c^+ form factors and polarization using the vector meson dominance model, matching experimental results and predicting spin polarization.
Findings
Theoretical cross sections agree with experimental measurements.
Angular distribution parameters are consistent with BESIII data.
Predicted mbda_c^+ spin polarization at 4.7 GeV.
Abstract
The total cross sections of the process close to the threshold are calculated within the vector meson dominance model. It is found that the theoretical results can describe the current experimental measurements. In particular, the results for the angular distribution parameters about the differential cross section are consistent with the experiments from BESIII Collaboration. In addition, the relative phase of the electromagnetic form factors was given, and the spin polarization of is predicted at center-mass energy . It is hopeful to provide a new perspective on the characteristics of the charmed baryon .
