Measurement of single top-quark production in association with a $W$ boson in $pp$ collisions at $\sqrt{s} = 13$ TeV with the ATLAS detector
The ATLAS Collaboration

TL;DR
This paper reports a precise measurement of the single top-quark production cross-section in association with a W boson at 13 TeV using ATLAS data, confirming Standard Model predictions and extracting the Wtb vertex parameter.
Contribution
First measurement of the $tW$ production cross-section at 13 TeV with a multivariate analysis and extraction of the Wtb vertex form factor from ATLAS data.
Findings
Measured cross-section: 75^{+15}_{-14} pb
Good agreement with Standard Model predictions
Extracted Wtb vertex form factor: 0.97 ± 0.10
Abstract
The inclusive cross-section for the production of a single top quark in association with a boson is measured using 140 fb of proton-proton collision data collected with the ATLAS detector at TeV. Events containing two charged leptons and at least one jet identified as originating from a -quark are selected. A multivariate discriminant is constructed to separate the signal from the background. The cross-section is extracted using a profile likelihood fit to the signal and control regions and it is measured to be pb, in good agreement with the Standard Model prediction. The measured cross-section is used to extract a value for the left-handed form factor at the vertex times the CKM matrix element of .
