Constraining $\lambda_{B_s}$ by $B_s\to \gamma^*$ and $B_s\to \phi$ form factors
Mikhail A. Ivanov, Dmitri Melikhov, and Silvano Simula

TL;DR
This paper calculates $B_s$ to vector meson form factors using a novel method based on distribution amplitudes, providing new constraints on the parameter $oldsymbol{\lambda_{B_s}}$ relevant for flavor physics.
Contribution
It introduces a model-independent approach to determine $B_s o \phi$ form factors directly from distribution amplitudes, avoiding quark-hadron duality and QCD sum rules.
Findings
Predicted $B_s o \phi$ form factors $V(q^2)$ and $T_1(q^2)$ across a broad $q^2$ range.
Estimated $oldsymbol{\lambda_{B_s}(\mu hickapprox m_b)}$ as $(0.62 \pm 0.10)$ GeV.
Provided a new method to connect form factors with $B_s$-meson distribution amplitudes.
Abstract
We calculate the form factors and describing the transition induced by the vector and tensor weak currents in a broad range of values of and far below the quark thresholds in both and channels. These form factors are calculated via the distribution amplitudes of the -meson. We then interpolate the obtained results by a formula that contains pole at and extract the residue which gives the transition form factors and . In this way we obtain theoretical predictions for these form factors without invoking quark-hadron duality and QCD sum rules. Furthermore, we calculate the relationship between and and the parameter , the inverse moment of the -meson distribution amplitude. Using the available predictions for …
