Ravi Singh, Sudeep Saha, Asmita Mukherjee, Nilmani Mathur

TL;DR
This paper calculates the angular momentum contributions of quarks and gluons in a dressed quark state using light-front QCD, comparing different decompositions and presenting angular momentum distributions.
Contribution
It provides a comparison of various angular momentum decompositions in a dressed quark state within light-front QCD, highlighting their differences and similarities.
Findings
Different decompositions yield comparable total angular momentum contributions.
Angular momentum distributions vary depending on the decomposition used.
The study clarifies the structure of angular momentum in a simple QCD system.
Abstract
We present a recent calculation of the quark and gluon contributions to the angular momentum of a composite spin - state in QCD. The state we consider is a quark dressed with a gluon, and we use the two-component framework in light-front Hamiltonian QCD. We compare the results from different decompositions available in the literature. We also present the angular momentum distributions.
