Indeterminate Stieltjes moment problems revisited
Christian Berg

TL;DR
This paper revisits classical results and introduces new insights into the determinacy and indeterminacy of normalized indeterminate Hamburger moment sequences that are also Stieltjes.
Contribution
It provides new theoretical results clarifying the conditions for determinacy and indeterminacy in Stieltjes moment problems, expanding on previous classical findings.
Findings
New criteria for determinacy and indeterminacy in Stieltjes moment sequences
Refined understanding of the relationship between Hamburger and Stieltjes moment problems
Enhanced theoretical framework for analyzing moment problems
Abstract
We consider a normalized indeterminate Hamburger moment sequence s which is supposed to be Stieltjes. We revisit old results about determinacy/indeterminacy in the sense of Stieltjes for s and we prove some new results about the concepts involved.
