TL;DR
This study uses the PACIAE model to confirm the production of the glueball-like particle X(2370) in electron-positron collisions at BESIII, distinguishing it from molecular states through simulation of different configurations.
Contribution
The paper introduces a simulation approach to confirm the glueball nature of X(2370) and differentiate it from molecular states using the PACIAE and DCPC models.
Findings
X(2370) production confirmed in e+e- collisions
Transverse momentum and rapidity distributions differ between states
Simulation distinguishes glueball from molecular configurations
Abstract
The parton and hadron cascade model {\footnotesize PACIAE} is employed to confirm the BESIII newest observation of glueball-like particle production in collisions at . We coalesce the glueball state with two gluons in the simulated partonic final state by the Dynamically Constrained Phase-space Coalescence ({\footnotesize DCPC}) model. Alternative configuration of molecular state is recombined in the simulated hadronic final state with and by {\footnotesize DCPC} model. The resulted particle transverse momentum spectrum and rapidity distribution, etc. show a significant discrepancy between the two states. They are not only serving as criteria to distinguish the glueball state or molecular state, but also confirming the BESIII…
