TL;DR
This paper proposes a new experimental facility to explore a wide range of stellarator configurations aimed at achieving disruption-free fusion reactors.
Contribution
It introduces the concept of a Flexible Stellarator Physics Facility to systematically investigate stellarator solutions for fusion energy.
Findings
Identification of promising stellarator configurations
Potential pathways to disruption-free fusion reactors
Framework for experimental exploration of stellarator parameters
Abstract
We propose to build a Flexible Stellarator Physics Facility to explore promising regions of the vast parameter space of disruption-free stellarator solutions for Fusion Pilot Plants (FPPs).
