TL;DR
This study searches for the production of the exotic particle $\\chi_{c1}(3872)$ in electron-positron collisions at BESIII, setting upper limits on its production cross section and informing its production mechanisms.
Contribution
First search for $e^+e^- \to \phi\chi_{c1}(3872)$ at specific energies, providing upper limits and insights into the particle's production at $e^+e^-$ colliders.
Findings
No significant signal observed.
Upper limits on cross section set at 0.85 and 0.96 pb.
Results inform understanding of $\\chi_{c1}(3872)$ production.
Abstract
Based on 368.5 pb of collision data collected at center-of-mass energies 4.914 and 4.946 GeV by the BESIII detector, the process is searched for the first time. No significant signal is observed and the upper limits at the 90\% confidence level on the product of the Born cross section and the branching fraction at 4.914 and 4.946 GeV are set to be 0.85 and 0.96 pb, respectively. These measurements provide useful information for the production of the at collider and deepen our understanding about the nature of this particle.
