Contribution
It introduces the study of mixed multiquadratic extensions as splitting fields for exponent 2 algebras in characteristic 2 and constructs explicit nonexcellent examples.
Findings
Identification of mixed multiquadratic extensions as splitting fields
Construction of nonexcellent mixed biquadratic extensions
Insights into algebraic properties in characteristic 2
Abstract
We study mixed multiquadratic field extensions as splitting fields for central simple algebras of exponent in characteristic . As an application, we provide examples of nonexcellent mixed biquadratic field extensions.
