Topological amplitudes of charmed baryon decays in the $SU(3)_F$ limit
Di Wang, Jin-Feng Luo

TL;DR
This paper analyzes charmed baryon decays using topological diagrams within the $SU(3)_F$ symmetry, identifying key amplitudes and their relations, and estimating decay branching fractions and CP asymmetries.
Contribution
It introduces a comprehensive topological diagram framework for $_{car{3}} o _8 M$ decays, including new diagrams with quark loops and symmetric/antisymmetric octets, and derives relations among amplitudes.
Findings
Thirteen independent $SU(3)$ irreducible amplitudes contribute to the decays.
Four amplitudes are significant for CP asymmetries.
Branching fractions are dominated by five amplitudes in the $SU(3)_F$ limit.
Abstract
Charmed baryon decay plays an important role in studying the weak and strong interactions. Topological diagram is an intuitive tool for analyzing the dynamics of heavy hadron decays. In this work, we investigate the topological diagrams of charmed baryon antitriplet () decays into a light baryon octet () and a light meson (). The topological diagrams of the modes (where and are the symmetric and antisymmetric octets) and the diagrams with a quark loop are presented for the first time. The completeness of topologies is confirmed by permutation. The linear relations of topologies are obtained by deriving the relation between the topological amplitudes constructed by the third- and second-rank octet tensors. The equations of …
