Measurement of the production and elliptic flow of (anti)nuclei in Xe-Xe collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}}$ = 5.44 TeV
ALICE Collaboration

TL;DR
This paper reports on the measurement of (anti)nuclei production and elliptic flow in Xe-Xe collisions at 5.44 TeV, providing insights into the system's freeze-out conditions and validating coalescence and statistical models.
Contribution
It presents the first measurement of (anti)deuteron and (anti)$^3$He elliptic flow in Xe-Xe collisions and extracts the chemical freeze-out temperature including light nuclei.
Findings
Elliptic flow of (anti)deuterons shows mass ordering and meson-baryon grouping.
The chemical freeze-out temperature is approximately 154 MeV, similar to Pb-Pb collisions.
Production yields are consistent with coalescence and statistical hadronization models.
Abstract
Measurements of (anti)deuteron and (anti)He production in the rapidity range 0.5 as a function of the transverse momentum and event multiplicity in XeXe collisions at a center-of-mass energy per nucleonnucleon pair of = 5.44 TeV are presented. The coalescence parameters and are measured as a function of the transverse momentum per nucleon. The ratios between (anti)deuteron and (anti)He yields and those of (anti)protons and pions are reported as a function of the mean charged-particle multiplicity density, and compared with two implementations of the statistical hadronization model and with coalescence predictions. The elliptic flow of (anti)deuterons is measured for the first time in XeXe collisions and shows features similar to those already observed in PbPb collisions, i.e., the mass ordering at low transverse momentum and…
