TL;DR
This paper constructs new supersymmetric Janus solutions in matter-coupled F(4) gauged supergravity, describing conformal interfaces within five-dimensional N=2 SCFTs and involving multiple AdS6 vacua and holographic RG flows.
Contribution
It presents the first examples of Janus solutions with more than one AdS6 vacuum in six-dimensional gauged supergravity, expanding understanding of holographic interfaces.
Findings
New supersymmetric Janus solutions with multiple AdS6 vacua.
Solutions describe conformal interfaces with relevant and irrelevant operator deformations.
Evidence for RG-flow interfaces connecting different AdS6 vacua.
Abstract
We study supersymmetric Janus solutions from matter-coupled gauged supergravity coupled to three vector multiplets and gauge group. There are two supersymmetric vacua preserving all supersymmetries with and symmetries dual to SCFTs in five dimensions. We consider a truncation to singlet scalars and find a number of new supersymmetric Janus solutions preserving eight supercharges. These solutions holographically describe conformal interfaces within five-dimensional SCFTs involving deformations by source terms and vacuum expectation values of relevant and irrelevant operators. Apart from the Janus solutions interpolating between vacua, some of the solutions have vacua generated…
