TL;DR
This paper investigates the flavor-violating decay of the Higgs boson into a bottom and strange quark pair within the $U(1)_X$SSM, revealing potential deviations from the Standard Model predictions due to new model parameters.
Contribution
It provides a detailed analysis of the $h ightarrow bs$ decay in the $U(1)_X$SSM, highlighting how new parameters can significantly alter decay rates compared to the SM.
Findings
Branching ratio of $h ightarrow bs$ can significantly differ from SM expectations.
New parameters in $U(1)_X$SSM influence flavor violation mechanisms.
Guidance for experimental searches for new physics via Higgs decays.
Abstract
In the SSM, we delve into the flavor violation of , where is identified with the SM-like Higgs boson discovered at the LHC. As the U(1) extension of the minimal supersymmetric standard model (MSSM), the U(1)XSSM has new super fields such as right-handed neutrinos and three Higgs singlets. We conduct a thorough analysis of the underlying mechanisms and parameter dependencies of in the SSM. In the SSM, we discover that the Br for the Higgs decay to could significantly differ from the expectation in the standard model (SM), depending on the values of the new parameters introduced in the model. Our research not only contributes to a deeper understanding of Higgs physics within the SSM, but also provides valuable guidance for new physics (NP).
