Measurement and Control of Solenoid Stroke using Its Electrical Characteristics
Junichi Akita

TL;DR
This paper presents an algorithm to measure and control the stroke of a solenoid using its electrical characteristics, eliminating the need for mechanical attachments, and demonstrates experimental control at intermediate positions.
Contribution
It introduces a novel method for measuring and controlling solenoid stroke based solely on electrical signals, avoiding mechanical sensors.
Findings
Successful measurement of solenoid stroke using electrical characteristics.
Effective control of solenoid at intermediate positions demonstrated.
Algorithm provides a non-mechanical approach to solenoid stroke management.
Abstract
In this paper, we describe the algorithm to measure the stroke of solenoid using the electric characteristics of the solenoid, without mechanical attachments. We also describe the experimental results of controlling the solenoid stroke at intermediate position.
