TL;DR
This paper demonstrates a solar-blind quantum key distribution (QKD) system over a simplified free-space optical link, showing robustness under daylight conditions and using large-core fiber for alignment.
Contribution
It introduces a practical outdoor QKD setup with simplified alignment and proves daylight stability of E-band QKD despite reduced spatial filtering.
Findings
Successful outdoor QKD over free-space link
Stable daylight operation of E-band QKD
Use of large-core fiber for alignment simplifies system
Abstract
We demonstrate QKD and data communication over an out-door free-space link where large-core fiber substitutes active alignment. We further prove E-band QKD as stable and robust under full daylight, despite the loss of spatial filtering.
