$CP$-violating observables of four-body $B_{(s)} \to (\pi\pi)(K\bar{K})$ decays in perturbative QCD
Da-Cheng Yan, Yan Yan, Zhou Rui

TL;DR
This paper analyzes CP-violating observables in four-body B meson decays using perturbative QCD, predicting branching ratios, polarization fractions, and triple-product asymmetries, which can be tested in future experiments.
Contribution
It provides the first predictions of triple-product asymmetries and detailed CP violation observables for four-body B decays in the PQCD framework, including new insights into fake asymmetries.
Findings
Predicted ${ m B}(B_s^0 o ho o ho ext{-} ext{related decays}$ agree with experimental data.
Longitudinal polarization fractions are around 90%, consistent with previous predictions.
Sizable fake T-odd asymmetries are predicted, indicating strong final-state interactions.
Abstract
In this work, we investigate six helicity amplitudes of the four-body decays in the perturbative QCD (PQCD) approach. The invariant mass spectrum is dominated by the vector resonance together with scalar resonance , while the vector resonance and scalar resonance are expected to contribute in the invariant mass range. We extract the two-body branching ratios from the corresponding four-body decays . The predicted agrees well with the current experimental data within errors. The longitudinal polarization fractions of the decays are found to be as large as , basically consistent with the previous two-body predictions within uncertainties. In addition, the…
