TL;DR
This paper interprets the newly observed $X(2085)$ as a radially excited $K_1(3P)$ meson using decay behavior analysis within the quark pair creation model, providing predictions for its decay channels and width.
Contribution
It offers a canonical interpretation of $X(2085)$ as a $K_1(3P)$ state and assigns other $K_1$ states within the same framework, advancing understanding of strange axialvector mesons.
Findings
$X(2085)$ is identified as a $K_1(3P)$ state based on decay analysis.
Predicted decay channels include $ ho(1450) K$, $ ho(1420)K$, and others.
The width of the $K_1(3P^ extprime)$ state is about 300 MeV.
Abstract
Inspired by the newly observed by the BESIII Collaboration, we study the strong decay behaviors of excited axialvector strange mesons within the quark pair creation model. Our results indicate that the can be regarded as the same state, and the is assigned as the state. Considering the mass, spin-parity, and decay behaviors, we interpret the newly observed as the radially excited state, which mainly decays into the , , , , and final states. Also, the width of state is predicted to be about 300 MeV, which can be searched for by future experiments. We expect that present calculations can help us to better understand the nature of the structure.
