Forests whose matching powers are linear
Nursel Erey, Antonino Ficarra

TL;DR
This paper classifies all weighted oriented forests where at least one matching power has a linear resolution, advancing understanding of the algebraic properties of such graph structures.
Contribution
It provides a complete classification of weighted oriented forests with linear resolution in one of their matching powers, a novel result in algebraic graph theory.
Findings
Identifies all such forests with linear resolution in matching powers
Establishes criteria for linear resolution in these forests
Advances the algebraic understanding of weighted oriented forests
Abstract
In this note, we classify all the weighted oriented forests whose edge ideals have the property that one of their matching powers has linear resolution.
