Abstract
This study explores how the COVID-19 pandemic's economic impact has exacerbated nutritional health disparities among women. It sought to understand the effects of economic challenges on women's dietary choices and access to nutritious food across different socioeconomic groups. Using a mixed-methods approach, the research combined quantitative data from health and economic records with qualitative insights from interviews with diverse women. The study analyzed trends in nutritional health and economic factors before and after the pandemic and gathered personal accounts regarding nutrition and economic difficulties during this period. Findings showed a clear link between the economic downturn and deteriorating nutritional health, particularly in low-income and marginalized groups.
