Hadamard states for linearized gravity on spacetimes with compact Cauchy surfaces
Christian G\'erard

TL;DR
This paper proves the existence of Hadamard states for the quantization of linearized Einstein equations in harmonic gauge on Einstein spacetimes with compact Cauchy surfaces, advancing quantum gravity research.
Contribution
It establishes the existence of Hadamard states for linearized gravity on a broad class of spacetimes, filling a gap in quantum field theory on curved backgrounds.
Findings
Existence of Hadamard states proven for linearized Einstein equations.
Validates the use of harmonic gauge in this context.
Applicable to Einstein spacetimes with compact Cauchy surfaces.
Abstract
We consider the quantization of linearized Einstein equations. We prove the existence of Hadamard states in the harmonic gauge on any Einstein spacetime with compact Cauchy surfaces.
