Holographic Odderon at TOTEM ?
Florian Hechenberger, Kiminad A. Mamo, Ismail Zahed

TL;DR
This paper investigates the role of the Odderon in high-energy proton-proton and proton-antiproton elastic scattering using holographic QCD models, providing theoretical predictions that align with recent TOTEM experimental data.
Contribution
It introduces a holographic approach to model the Odderon as a Reggeized glueball, connecting gravity dual descriptions with scattering observables.
Findings
Small rho-parameter consistent with experimental data
Differential and total cross sections match TOTEM results
Holographic model captures key features of high-energy scattering
Abstract
We consider the contribution of the Odderon to diffractive and elastic scattering at large center of mass energy. We identify the Odderon and Pomeron with the Reggeized and glueballs in the bulk, respectively. We use for the gravity dual description the repulsive wall model, to account for the proper Gribov diffusion for off-forward scattering. The eikonalized and unitarized amplitudes exhibit a vanishingly small rho-parameter, and a slope parameter fixed by twice the closed string slope. The results for the differential and total cross sections are compared to the empirical results reported recently by the TOTEM collaboration.
