TL;DR
This study used high-energy X-ray diffraction to search for signatures of a pair density wave in YBa₂Cu₃O₆.67 under high magnetic fields but found no evidence of the predicted signal.
Contribution
The paper reports a detailed experimental search for pair density wave signatures in YBa₂Cu₃O₆.67 using high-energy X-ray diffraction, with negative results.
Findings
No evidence of pair density wave signal at the predicted wavevector.
Experiment conducted up to 16 T magnetic field.
Provides detailed reciprocal space mapping.
Abstract
We have carried out a search for a pair density wave signature using high-energy X-ray diffraction in fields up to 16 T. We do not see evidence for a signal at the predicted wavevector. This is a report on the details of our experiment, with information on where in reciprocal space we looked.
