Alakabha Datta, Danny Marfatia, Lopamudra Mukherjee

TL;DR
This paper proposes a dark sector model involving a dark scalar and sterile neutrino to explain anomalies observed in B meson decays, MiniBooNE, and muon g-2, and makes predictions for related rare decays.
Contribution
It introduces a novel dark sector model linking multiple anomalies and provides testable predictions for rare meson decays.
Findings
Explains the excess in $B^+ o K^+ uar u$ decays.
Accounts for MiniBooNE and muon g-2 anomalies.
Predicts new rare decay channels for future experiments.
Abstract
Belle II has reported the first evidence for with a branching ratio higher than the standard model expectation. We explain this, and the MiniBooNE and muon anomalous magnetic moment anomalies in a model with a dark scalar that couples to a slightly heavier sterile Dirac neutrino and that communicates with the visible sector via a Higgs portal. We make predictions for rare kaon and other meson decays.
