TL;DR
This paper introduces a regularization method for the sourced Weyl double copy, enabling the analysis of AdS and Lifshitz black holes and potentially linking classical double copy with holography.
Contribution
It proposes a regularization procedure that aligns the sourced Weyl double copy with the Kerr-Schild version, facilitating studies of complex black holes in holography.
Findings
Regularization makes AdS and Lifshitz black holes treatable within the Weyl double copy.
The method bridges the sourced Weyl double copy with classical double copy frameworks.
Potential connection between double copy and holography is suggested.
Abstract
We propose a regularization procedure in the sourced Weyl double copy, a spinorial version of the classical double copy, such that it matches much more general results in the Kerr-Schild version. In the regularized Weyl double copy, the anti-de Sitter (AdS) and the Lifshitz black holes, which form the basis of the study of strongly coupled gauge theories at finite temperature through the AdS/CFT correspondence and its non-relativistic generalization, become treatable. We believe that this might pave the way for finding out a relation between the classical double copy and holography.
