Abstract
Field oriented control of permanent magnet synchronous motor drives involves the closed-loop regulation of currents in the synchronous reference frame. The current feedback is directly affected by errors in both position and stationary frame current measurements. This paper presents the exact analytical expression for estimated synchronous frame currents under simultaneous errors in both sensors along with a detailed analysis of the incorrect estimation on the closed-loop current control performance.
