Near-threshold resonance in $e^{+}e^{-}\rightarrow\Lambda_{c}\bar{\Lambda}_{c}$ process
S.G. Salnikov, A.I. Milstein

TL;DR
This paper analyzes the energy dependence of the $e^{+}e^{-}\rightarrow\Lambda_{c}\bar{\Lambda}_{c}$ cross section near threshold, incorporating new experimental data, and predicts a bound state that could influence meson production.
Contribution
It introduces a detailed potential model for the $\Lambda_{c}\bar{\Lambda}_{c}$ system and predicts a bound state near threshold, aligning with recent experimental findings.
Findings
Good agreement with BESIII data on cross sections and form factors.
Prediction of a $\Lambda_{c}\bar{\Lambda}_{c}$ bound state at ~38 MeV below threshold.
Potential impact on understanding light meson production anomalies.
Abstract
We discuss the influence of various contributions of the potential on the energy dependence of the cross section near the threshold. New BESIII experimental data on the cross section and electromagnetic form factors and are taken into account. Our predictions are in good agreement with experimental data. We predict a bound state of at energy below the threshold that may manifest itself in anomalous behavior of light meson production cross sections in a given energy region.
