TL;DR
This paper demonstrates the violation of Bell-CHSH inequality in the vacuum state of a relativistic scalar field using Tomita-Takesaki theory and Weyl operator correlations.
Contribution
It introduces a novel approach combining Tomita-Takesaki theory with Weyl operators to analyze Bell inequality violations in quantum field theory.
Findings
Bell-CHSH inequality is violated in the vacuum state.
Uses Tomita-Takesaki theory for quantum correlations.
Provides explicit computation of Weyl operator correlations.
Abstract
The violation of the Bell-CHSH inequality in the vacuum state of a relativistic free real scalar field is established by means of the Tomita-Takesaki construction and of the direct computation of the correlation functions of Weyl operators.
