Prepare-and-measure based QKD protocol under free-space losses
Mitali Sisodia, Joyee Ghosh

TL;DR
This paper presents a theoretical prepare-and-measure QKD protocol suitable for free-space communication, demonstrating high secret key rates despite free-space losses and noise.
Contribution
It introduces a novel prepare-and-measure SARG04 protocol optimized for free-space quantum key distribution.
Findings
Achieves high secret key rates under free-space losses
Tolerates significant noise levels
Demonstrates protocol's robustness in free-space conditions
Abstract
In this study, we have theoretically presented a prepare-and-measure-based SARG04 protocol over free space. It has shown that the highest secret key rate is possible even under free-space losses with a maximum tolerance of noise.
