A new observable for $W$-mass determination
Luca Rottoli, Paolo Torrielli, Alessandro Vicini

TL;DR
This paper introduces the Jacobian asymmetry as a novel observable to improve the precision and robustness of measuring the W-boson mass at hadron colliders.
Contribution
The paper presents the Jacobian asymmetry as a new observable for W-mass determination, enhancing measurement robustness and accuracy.
Findings
Jacobian asymmetry provides a stable measurement of W-mass.
It reduces systematic uncertainties in W-mass extraction.
The method improves precision over traditional techniques.
Abstract
In this contribution we discuss the properties of the jacobian asymmetry, the new observable introduced in hep-ph/2301.04059 for a robust determination of the value and uncertainty of the -boson mass at hadron colliders.
