Benarous Mohamed, Hocine Ahmed, Mehedi Atika

TL;DR
This paper derives generalized stability conditions for binary Bose mixtures, accounting for fluctuations and quantum effects, which influence the formation of droplet states and phase separation.
Contribution
It introduces a comprehensive framework for stability analysis in Bose mixtures, incorporating interspecies and intraspecies fluctuations and quantum effects like LHY corrections.
Findings
New stability criteria considering fluctuations and quantum effects.
Identification of conditions for droplet state existence.
Insights into phase separation mechanisms.
Abstract
Considering both interspecies and intraspecies fluctuations in ultracold bose-bose mixtures, we derive generalized stability conditions against collapse and phase separation. Furthermore, by examining the energy density of the system, we show that new LHY-like effects may enforce or destroy the stability according to the excitation branch, therefore, permitting or prohibiting the existence of droplet states.
