Myungho Kim, SungSoon Kim

TL;DR
This paper introduces new presentations of the modified Ariki-Koike algebra with relations akin to Yokonuma-Hecke algebra, establishing isomorphisms independent of parameters and exploring trace forms and symmetric group actions.
Contribution
It provides parameter-independent presentations of the algebra, constructs explicit trace forms, and analyzes symmetric group actions on the algebra.
Findings
New algebra presentations similar to Yokonuma-Hecke relations.
Isomorphism of algebras with different parameters.
Explicit symmetrising trace form and fixed subalgebra basis.
Abstract
We find new presentations of the modified Ariki-Koike algebra (known also as Shoji's algebra) over an integral domain associated with a set of parameters in . It turns out that the algebra has a set of generators and subject to a set of defining relations similar to the relations of Yokonuma-Hecke algebra. We also obtain a presentation of which is independent to the choice of . Hence the algebras associated with the parameters and are isomorphic even in the case that and are different. As applications of the presentations, we find an explicit trace form on the algebra which is symmetrising provided the parameters are invertible in .…
