TL;DR
This paper explores the decay of CP-even Higgs bosons into muon-tau pairs within a 3-3-1 model with inverse seesaw neutrinos, identifying parameter regions compatible with experimental constraints and comparing Higgs masses.
Contribution
It provides a detailed analysis of Higgs decay widths in a specific 3-3-1 model, considering experimental limits and neutrino mixing effects, which is a novel approach.
Findings
Existence of parameter regions where decay widths are below experimental limits
Comparison of SM-like Higgs mass with other CP-even Higgs bosons
Identification of parameter space consistent with $l_a ightarrow l_b \gamma$ constraints
Abstract
In a 3-3-1 model with inverse seesaw neutrinos, we use a simple form of Higgs potential to give four CP-even Higgs bosons (). We investigate decays in the parameter space regions satisfying the experimental limits of with running parameters being the mass of the charged Higgs boson () and the mixing matrix of the heavy neutrinos (). We show that there exist regions of parameter space where all partial widths are less than the current experimental limit (). Analyzing the contributing components to , we also compare the mass of the SM-like Higgs boson with the corresponding ones of the other CP-even Higgs bosons in this model.
