About AKM scaling and oscillations in elastic scattering at very small momentum transfer at the LHC
Per Grafstr\"om

TL;DR
This paper analyzes elastic scattering data at 13 TeV to investigate AKM oscillations at very small momentum transfer, finding no evidence of such oscillations contrary to earlier indications at lower energies.
Contribution
It provides the first detailed analysis of AKM oscillations at 13 TeV, clarifying their absence in recent high-energy elastic scattering data.
Findings
No AKM oscillations observed at 13 TeV
Previous oscillation indications at lower energies are not confirmed
Data supports a smooth elastic scattering cross section at small |t|
Abstract
The ATLAS and TOTEM collaborations have measured the differential elastic cross section at centre-of mass energy =13 TeV and at small four-moment squared . The data at very small i.e. have been analysed in terms of so called AKM (Auberson, Kinoshita and Martin) oscillations. An indication of a possible oscillation of this type had previously been reported at =541 GeV using data from the UA4/2 experiment. There are no such indications in the data at 13 TeV examined here.
