Could the Well of an Orbital Lift be used to Dump Greenhouse Gases into Space?
O. Bertolami

TL;DR
This paper explores the feasibility of using the well of a geostationary orbital lift as a method to remove greenhouse gases from Earth's atmosphere by dumping them into space.
Contribution
It analyzes the conditions necessary for using orbital lift wells to effectively and safely dispose of greenhouse gases into space.
Findings
Potential technical conditions identified for orbital dumping
Challenges related to safety and energy requirements discussed
Feasibility depends on specific orbital and environmental factors
Abstract
Anthropogenic greenhouse gases have been changing significantly the climate and causing dire effects on the dynamics of the Earth System. We examine the conditions under which the well of a geostationary orbital lift can be used to dump greenhouse gases into space.
